Meet Linda
Linda Conder is leading a new wave in health—transforming how we understand the gut-brain connection and empowering people to take control of their wellbeing.
Once upon a time, I was a school teacher wrangling classrooms full of curious (and occasionally chaotic) children. These days, I wrangle something even wilder—people’s gut bacteria.
After more than 20 years teaching across the Northern Territory, I made a big pivot. I studied Nutritional and Environmental Medicine because I could see the clear (and often ignored) connection between what we eat, how we feel, and how we learn. So many of the challenges I saw in students—and their parents—didn’t start in the brain, but in the gut.
Now, I run The Gut Feeling Collective—a space where I help people tune into their inner ecosystem and finally feel good from the inside out. I mix science with real-life strategies to make gut-brain health feel doable, not overwhelming.
I’m also proud to be the Australian Ambassador for the Food for the Brain Foundation, a global initiative focused on preventing dementia through nutrition and lifestyle.
My mission?
To change the way we think about health—starting with our second brain. I want to help people ditch the guesswork, decode their symptoms, and take confident, natural steps toward a sharper mind, a happier mood, and a longer, healthier life.
My journey into nutritional medicine began with my own health challenges. After contracting amoebic dysentery and malaria during my travels in Kenya, Africa, I later developed ulcerative colitis and struggled with mental health issues. These experiences fuelled my passion for finding effective, holistic ways to heal—not just for myself, but for others on similar paths.
